My name is Conal Gallagher and I am currently employed as a Director
of Information Security at a major software company right outside
Chicago, Illinois. I possess over 12 years progressive experience in
the IT industry. I presently hold a leadership position in the
design and implementation of an information security framework
within a publicly traded company. I have a deep understanding of
technology and the business requirements that create a successful
adoption of leading edge solutions.
My experience spans IT operations, networking, security and
telecommunications. I have provided leadership in the areas of
multifarious project management, understanding technology trends and
evolutions, establishing policies and procedures, developing
budgets, and purchasing requirements. Most importantly, my
relationships and communication with executive management, staff and
various partners creates a clear understanding of my company's
mission and what is required to accomplish the strategic imperatives
of the organization.
I am an excellent communicator and motivator with a keen sense of
leadership intuition. I believe that an organization can only
achieve exceptional performance with superior management and staff.
